Carlson’s Collision was started in 1991 by Craig Carlson. Craig started his business in a small rented building. Craig is completely self-taught, and started with a passion of fixing late model repairables. As others started to see the quality and passion Craig showed with his repairs, soon others wanted their cars repaired too.
In 1996, Craig built his body shop on the outskirts of Hector, MN, and his business grew by leaps and bounds. Carlson’s Collision and Glass is now a 9000 square foot state-of-the-art collision repair facility that continues to do perfect, seamless repairs for a broad range of customers and insurance companies.
Craig currently serves on the South Central Technical College Autobody Department Board, the West Central Autobody Association, and holds a degree in Physical Damage Appraisal and Claims Adjustment from Ridgewater College. Craig is a past board member of the Ridgewater College Autobody Department . Lastly Craig is a welding judge at the annual Skills USA competition.
Craig is married to Jill. They have three children, Katie Jo, David and Rachel.
